Faith Abides Statement of Faith
1.  Scriptural Authority
We hold the Bible to be God’s inspired, unchanging, and authoritative Word, revealing His boundless love for humanity.  (1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; John 3:16)

2. One True God
We believe in one eternal God, existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; Ephesians 4:4-6)

3. Christ’s Divine Nature and Work
We believe in Jesus Christ’s divinity—His birth of a virgin, His sinless life, the power of His miracles, His sacrificial death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His return in glory. (Matthew 1:23; John 1:1-4; Acts 1:11; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

4. Salvation and Judgment
We believe that every person needs salvation, found only in Jesus Christ. True repentance and faith in Christ bring regeneration by the Holy Spirit. God promises eternal life to the redeemed and eternal separation to the unrepentant. (Luke 24:46-47; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 1:7; Titus 3:4-7)

6. Life Empowered by the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives within each believer, empowering us to live a life that honors God.

7. Resurrection and Eternity
We believe that all will be resurrected—the redeemed to eternal life, the lost to eternal separation.

8. Unity in Christ
We affirm that all who trust in Christ are united as His body, the Church.
(1 Corinthians 12:12, 27; Ephesians 1:22-23)

9. Our Responsibility in Evangelism and Discipleship
We believe every believer is called to share the message of Christ and to help others grow in faith.

10. Marriage and Human Sexuality
We believe that marriage is God’s design, a lifelong union between one man and one woman. Human sexuality is a sacred gift, intended for marriage.

11. Commitment to Prayer and Service
We commit ourselves to pray, to serve, and to surrender to Christ’s authority in all things.

12. Sanctity of Life
We believe in the sanctity of every human life from conception to natural end and hold a commitment to the physical and spiritual well-being of others.

13. Design and Identity
We believe that God creates each individual as male or female, reflecting His image through these complementary identities. We affirm that embracing one’s God-given identity honors His design.
